Pakistani terrorists used cricket matches to attack India

New Delhi, Jun 30: Abu Jundal - the arrested handler of 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks continues his saga of revealing shocking facts about Pakistan and its moves against India. During interrogations in Delhi, Jundal is believed to have claimed that terrorists used India-Pakistan cricket match to plot terror attacks on India.

One of the main accused of 26/11 attacks, Sajid Wajid akka Sajid Mir along with one Major Abdurrehman had visited India in 2005 on the pretext of watching the India-Pakistan cricket match which was held in Mohali.

Jundal reported to have informed that the duo had visited several sites in Mumbai and Delhi for about a fortnight. It seems that the Major and Sajid Mir had visited India much before than David Headly, the US-born LeT operative and another accused of Mumbai terror attacks.

According to Jundal, it was Mir who directed Headley in his 26/11 reconnaissance in 2006. The Major was retired army officer in Pakistan and he trained all ten terrorists who took part in the horrible terror attacks in Mumbai in 2008.

An electronic blueprint of the Taj Mahal Hotel was developed to familiarise the ten terrorists with the interiors of Taj Hotel. They even prepared a miniature model of Taj to train the ten people including Ajmal Kasab, the sole arrested terrorist of Mumbai attacks.

Jundal also revealed Lashkar's plans to launch an aerial attack on India and added that the terror group have been training men for this purpose since the last two years.

With everyday revealing more and more on the devious plans of terror groups trying to cause harm to India, Jundal is sure to be an important link for the country to know the inside working of the famed terror outfit the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT).
