Microsoft's Greece office attacked; entrance gutted
A police source has been quoted as saying, "The van contained three inflammable gas canisters and five cans of gasoline." The van was completely destroyed in the attack and carried two people who carried out the attacks. The incident took place at 0145 GMT. No casualties have been reported in the pre-dawn attack.
Police spokesman Thanasis Kokkalakis stated, "There was extensive damage on the ground floor. Microsoft will not operate today."
Forensic teams are checking the burnt van to know the real motive behind the attacks.
Establishments in Greece have witnessed such attacks by local terror groups especially official buildings, banks or symbols of state power. No one has claimed responsibility for the attacks yet.
