Karnataka BJP to see change of leadership?
According to sources, Dharmendra Pradhan, BJP in-charge of Karnataka affairs and BJP national organising secretary Satish will arrive in Bangalore on Jun 28 and discuss over the issue with other politicians in the state including BS Yeddyurappa, CM DV Sadananda Gowda, state BJP president KS Eshwarappa and other BJP leaders.
"Unlike in the past when Gowda was 'elected', this time the party high command wants to do it through consensus. It is with this mandate that Pradhan and Satish are coming to Bangalore," said sources.
The report would then be presented to BJP President Nitin Gadkari, said sources.
According to sources in the Yeddyurappa camp, the high command realised the need of the hour and decided a change in leadership.
Gadkari assured Yeddyurappa and his followers of the same during his son's wedding at Nagpur, they said.
Following the assurance from the High Command, Yeddyurappa met ministers supporting him. The ministers are CM Udasi, Renukacharya and Basavaraj Bommai.
