BS Yeddyurappa
Bangalore, Jun 21: Former chief minister of Karnataka, BS Yeddyurappa, his sons and son-in-law have been granted anticipatory bail in the graft case by the Karnataka High Court on Thursday.

The allegations against BS Yeddyurappa included that a trust run by his sons received a donation of Rs 20 crore from Jindal mining firm in Bellary.

It was also alleged that Yeddyurappa's son-in-law and son sold a area near Bangalore airport to a mining company for price 20 times higher than the actual market price.

Meanwhile, Yeddyurappa's anticipatory bail was earlier rejected by the CBI.

The news would definitely provide relief to Yeddyurappa, who has been stirring political controversy in the state by trying to oust chief minister DV Sadananda Gowda.
