Barack Obama heckled by website reporter in White House
According to sources, Obama was delivering his speech over migration when Munro shouted and interrupted Obama saying, "Why'd you favour foreigners over Americans?"
Continuous interruption by the reporter made Obama irritated and the president replied, "Excuse me, sir, but it's not time for questions."
However, Munro, who is currently working with The Daily Caller whose publisher and CEO is an Indian-American, ignored the president and hurled another question to Obama. "Are you going to take questions?" asked Murno.
In a response to Munro's question, Obama replied, "Not while I'm speaking." "I didn't ask for an argument. I'm answering your question," added Obama.
"The President today announced a very controversial policy and does not want to answer tough questions about it. Neil Munro is a veteran Washington reporter who today tried his best to time his question to be first as the President was wrapping up his remarks. He in no way meant to heckle the President of the United States," said Neil Patel, the CEO of the website. Patel was the chief policy advisor to the former Vice-President Dick Cheney.
Meanwhile, Munro stated, "I timed the question believing the president was closing his remarks, because naturally I have no intention of interrupting the President of the United States."
