Bangalore, Jun 13: The Bangalore police is still on a look out for self-styled godman Swami Nithyananda and have begun their search at his ashram in Bidadi.

Reports reveal that the police is likely to arrest all those named in an FIR, filed after a dispute between the media and his followers.

Meanwhile, Nithyananda's lawyers have moved the HC to quash the FIR filed against him. According to reports, the Karnataka government will take over his ashram located in Bidadi.

"We have done a partial search today, we cannot certainly say where Nithyananda is, we will wait till tomorrow," said Anupam Agarwal, Ramanagara District SP.

"We have found some electronic equipments and our technicians will check them tomorrow, we will continue the search operations tomorrow, sealing the ashram is not important, finding out evidences is important," said District Commissioner Sriram Reddy.

Nithyananda is already facing criminal charges that allege complaints of rape from some of his devotees. He is reportedly absconding from his Bidadi Ashram.

Chief Minister DV Sadananda Gowda on Monday ordered his arrest after a foreign national alleged that she was sexually abused at the hands of Nithyananda.

Reports reveal that the police recovered condoms, CDs and liquor during the raids at Nithyananda's Ashram in Bidadi.
