Hyderabad, Jun 5: More and more high profile names seem to be cropping up in the disproportionate assets case of YSR Congress chief and Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy who is currently behind bars. He has been charged of accumulating wealth illegally. The latest name that has come up in the case is that of Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Ponnala Laxmaiah. The CBI investigating the case has issued a summons to the Minister.

Earlier, Andhra Pradesh Minister for Excise and Prohibition Mopidevi Venkata Ramana was arrested by the CBI for doling out undue favours to Jagan during (late) YS Rajasekhara Reddy's regime as CM. He was the Minister for Infrastructure, Investment and Ports then.

Laxmaiah, on the other hand was the Irrigation Minister during the YSR regime and is one of the six ministers who were issued notices by the Supreme Court earlier this year. He has been asked to appear before the CBI on Jun 7. He is the fourth minister to be questioned in Jaganmohan Reddy's disproportionate assets case.
