Zohal Hamid to withdraw cases against Siddharth Mallya, Luke

New Delhi, May 23: US national Zohal Hamid has decided to withdraw the cases filed against cricketer Luke Pomersbach and Siddhartha Mallya, said Sahil Peerzada's brother, Firoze Peerzada.

"Luke should not have misbehaved with Zohal. We are willing to forgive Luke and don't want to pursue the case against him," said Firoze Peerzada.

Talking about Sidhartha Mallya, he said, "Sidhartha is a young man and must have tweeted in anger. We have high respect for the Mallyas. Vijay Mallya is a visionary man. We do not want to pursue any case against Sidhartha Mallya either."

He further said that it was their wish to withdraw the cases and "There is no pressure on us."

Soon after the arrest of Luke Pomersbach, Sidhartha Mallya tweeted, "The girl who is accusing Luke is saying he hit her 'fiance'...what a load of f****** s***. She was all over me last night and asked for me bbm pin, so if he was her fiance she wasn't exactly behaving like a future wife", following which Zohal filed a defamation case against the RCB owner.

A case was filed by Zohal Hamid against Luke Pomersbach after he allegedly tried to molest her post-match IPL party at Delhi's ITC Maurya Hotel on Friday night.
