Mummar Gaddafi's $25 million hotel complex seized

Rome, May 17: A hotel complex and land owned by slain Libyan dictator, Muammar Gaddafi's family in Italy worth whopping $25 million (EUR 20 million) have been seized.

The complex is located on the Southern Island of Pantelleria. Reports reveal that Gaddafi was planning to build a holiday village on Pantelleria.

The seizures were ordered by a court in Rome after his assets worth EUR 1.1 billion were seized by the tax police in the country in Mar.

The assets were in control of Gaddafi's family and were ordered at the request of the international criminal court in The Hague. The seizures also included a football club Juventus, owned by his football enthusiastic son Saadi Gaddafi.
