Jet Airways
Mumbai, May 5: Three weeks after it stopped its business with travel portal Makemytrip, Jet Airways has resumed its booking services through the portal, said the airlines.

"Full inventory of Jet Airways is available on the portal. MakeMyTrip customers will now be able to access and book all domestic and international Jet flights," said a release by the airways.

"We are pleased to announce the resumption of our full inventory on MakeMyTrip once again and we look forward to a mutually-beneficial association between the two companies," said Sudheer Raghavan, Jet Group chief commercial officer.

"We value our relationship with Jet and look forward to strengthening it, as we continue to partner with them. We stand committed to providing customers the best quality of services and value-based offerings," said Keyur Joshi, MakeMyTrip chief operating officer & co-founder.

Earlier, Jet Airways and IndiGo pulled out themselves from Makemytrip in a bid to protest against and bring the practice of opaque fares to a stop.

Opaque fares are heavily discounted tickets with no flight number or details of the airlines and usable at the latter's prudence being offered by travel portals such as Makemytrip and Yatra.
