Osama Bin Laden
Melbourne, May 3: After terror mastermind and former al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden’s death anniversary on May 1st, the mystery surrounding his death and especially his place of burial is still shrouded in secrecy. In a bid to fuel speculations with renewed force, a California-based treasure hunter has claimed that he has found the body of Osama some 200 miles to the west of the Indian city of Surat.

The terror head was believed to have been given a sea burial by US troops after he was taken out in a covert operation from his house in Abbottabad in Pakistan.

The treasure hunter, Bill Warren states that the recent pictures released by US Navy Seals revealed more on the final resting place of Osama. According to him, the location has not shifted since the body was put in a weighted bag.

Waren, in a newspaper report that appeared in the Spanish newspaper El Mundo, has been quoted as saying, “I’ve located where they threw him away. I’m the only one with this information. He’s 200 miles (320km) to the west of the Indian city of Surat.”

Warren whose main business is “salvaging history from shipwrecks” stated that he is involved in this case way back in June last year. The treasure hunter claims that he would need a whopping 200,000 dollars to bring the prized body back to the surface. He also added that he was not doing it for the money. He also states that this endeavour is purely for personal reasons and just a means to reassure himself that Osama is actually dead.

He said, “We do this because we are patriotic Americans and feel that President Obama failed to provide proof.”

Exposing his conspiracy theory, the treasure hunter said that he has located more than 200 wrecks till now and feared that this one could be his last as he alleges that the US Government has a sinister interest to sink his boat. He claims that once he has the money to bring the body to the surface, Bin Laden’s body will be in his possession anywhere between a week and three months.

He added that he does not intend to raise the body to the surface, but on the other hand, just photograph and videotape it before taking a chunk of DNA.
