Mumbai, May 3: The chief of the Board Of Control For Cricket In India (BCCI), N Srinivasan faced humiliation when Mumbai police arrested his son Ashwin.
Ashwin has been accused of creating ruckus in a city based pub. Ashwin allegedly attacked people in the pub and police officials following a heated argument over a peg of drink.
According to sources, Ashwin along with his friends visited a pub at Bandra, Escobar. The group allegedly started an argument with the waiters of the pub when they refused to serve alcohol beyond 1:30 AM deadline on Tuesday, May 1.
When the situation went out of control, pub officials informed police. Sources informed that Ashwin allegedly punched a police constable who asked them to leave the bar after paying the bill.
Charges of assaulting a govt officer, criminal intimidation and abuse have been hurled against Ashwin who spent the wee hours of Tuesday at lock up and was released few hours later after he was granted bail.
