"He is a mental case and frustrated," said the former Railway Minister while lashing out at the yoga-guru who has started his nationwide tour protesting against corruption and demanding to get back black money stashed in foreign banks.
Earlier, the yoga-guru raised a controversy after calling the Members of Parliament (MPs) "corrupt" and "characterless." While addressing the media, Ramdev said, "There are some politicians who are good. But some others are corrupt and have no character."
While many MPs decided to keep distance with the controversy, many others reacted strongly against Ramdev. Congress leader Satyavrat Chaturvedi stated, "We don't need any certificate from Baba Ramdev. We have been selected by the people."
Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party MP Mohan Singh said, "Baba Ramdev calls himself a saint but a saint doesn't talk like him. I pray to God to give him a saint like mind."
