90% Indians want Abdul Kalam as Prez; Karunanidhi cornered?
A survey conducted by OneIndia shows that 1,924 (89.7%) persons want Kalam as the next President of India, while only 90 (4.2%), 86 (4%), 27 (1.3%), 19 (0.9%) people showed their preferences towards the Union Finance Minister, Pranab Mukherjee; Bihar CM, Nitish Kumar; Punjab CM, Parkash Singh Badal and former UP CM, Mulayam Singh Yadav, respectively.

that
Kalam
"is
unacceptable"
for
the
post
of
President
of
the
nation.

the

the

have

to
caste
their
votes.

down
to
Chennai
to
discuss
the
candidates' names
with
the
DMK
Chief
for
the
upcoming
poll.
Meanwhile, Pranab Mukherjee on Monday urged the people of the country to stop speculations. "Don't indulge in speculation," said the Finance Minister while reacting towards the questions hurled at him from media personalities.
However, citing the result of the survey by OneIndia, it is quite clear that Indians have already shown - whom (Abdul Kalam) they actually want for the prestigious and important post - President of India.
