Now Sachin liable to face questions on black money: Ramdev

New Delhi, Apr 28: It seems that the news on Sachin Tendulkar's nomination to the Rajya Sabha did not go well with the yoga guru Baba Ramdev. Citing the news, Ramdev claimed that now the cricketer should speak out on the issues such as black money, corruptions and many other things about which the Congress (according to Ramdev) has not taken any action so far.

The yoga guru, while reacting on Sachin's decision, said, "He has every right to take whatever decision he wants to take. He has hit many centuries, he has hit many sixes. But now it gives us an opportunity to knock his doors asking him whether he will remain silent or will he speak up."

The yoga guru directly hit at the Congress saying that the party is playing its politics with Sachin and thus he (Ramdev) urged the cricketer to use his brain before taking any decision.

"We have no problem with that (Sachin is nominated for Rajya Sabha). But we expect that he applies his mind whether his cricket career is important or political career is important," said Ramdev while reacting to the news that Sachin has accepted Congress' offer to join politics.

Without concealing his anti-Congress opinion, the yoga guru claimed, "Congress is thinking how to tag Sachin with them. So there is a politics in not giving Bharat Ratna to him. There is also politics in giving him Rajya Sabha nomination."

He (Ramdev) also went to the extreme extent in accusing the Congress of pressurising Sachin to accept their offer. "It does not appear it (pressuring Sachin to accept nomination) is baseless. Sachin is a responsible citizen. He knows what is happening. He is not a child...It is for him to decide what to do after he retires from cricket, stated Ramdev.
