'Dirty' CD: Khurshid slaps BJP for its Kolaveri over Singhvi

Salman Khurshid, Abhishek Singhvi and Arun Jaitley
New Delhi, Apr 24: Abhishek Manu Singhvi might have got relief when the Law Minister Salman Khurshid criticised the main opposition party - Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for their kolaveri (rage) over his (Singhvi's) alleged involvement in a "dirty" video.

Khurshid's reaction came when the BJP MPs sought a clarification from the former Congress spokesperson (Singhvi) over the issue where he has been allegedly featured in a compromising position in a video. Arun Jaitley claimed that Singhvi should clarify his stand in the Parliament Budget Session which has been resumed on Tuesday, Apr 24.

Citing the BJP MPs reactions on the whole controversial issue, Khurshid stated, "Has it something to do with Parliamentary Affairs or something which is in the realm of a citizen's private life. I think that we should not really intrude where we should not be intruding."

"I think appropriate sensible balance between all these things has to be maintained by everybody, by us the public persons and by the media...We must be clear. We can't keep everything in the same manner," added Khurshid.

Earlier, on Monday, Singhvi submitted his resignation and claimed, "Since I am a disciplined party soldier, I did not think it fit to subject the party to any inconvenience on this account. All allegations are patently baseless and false."
