Reshuffle in Congress; old ministers to come back?

New Delhi, Apr 24: The major political party Congress is likely to bring back several ministers in the party. Four senior ministers wrote to Congress President Sonia Gandhi for the revival of their membership.

Union Minister of Rural Development Jairam Ramesh, Health and Family Welfare Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, Law Minister Salman Khurshid and Overseas Indian Affairs Minister Vayalar Ravi want to quit the ministry and join the party work.

When the budget session will end, a Cabinet reshuffle is expected if the senior ministers are brought back into the party. The revival plan has been taken following the preliminary report of the Defence Ministry AK Antony's Committee which looked into the matter of party's debacle in the Assembly elections.

Meanwhile, Sonia will receive the final report by the end of Apr. She is angry with the disruption in the Lok Sabha by Telangana MPs on Tuesday, Apr 24.
