Mukul Rohatgi, Nupur’s lawyer has also said that his client will be present in court. "She is not a fugitive and running away from justice. She can come to the court at 2 pm if the court takes up the case today," he added.
The CBI is contemplating and has the power to arrest her outside the Supreme Court premises or wait for the court ruling. On Thursday, the CBI had proclaimed that Nupur’s husband, Rajesh Talwar was also absconding. Rajesh is on conditional bail till May 7.
The parents, Nupur and Rajesh Talwar is allegedly involved in the murder of their teenage daughter Aarushi who was found dead in their apartment in May 2008. The next day, the dead body of their servant Hemraj was also found on the terrace of the Noida residence. The shoddy investigation of the Uttar Pradesh police during Mayawati’s rule prompted the CBI to take charge of the case.
