Lahore, New Delhi: Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari is coming to India on Sunday, Apr 8, for a day long visit, accompanied with 40-Pakistani delegation.

Zardari will meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at his official residence to discuss on the bilateral issues, followed by lunch. While Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Senior BJP leader LK Advani, BJP leader Sushma Swaraj will also attend the lunch along with Singh and Zardari. Meanwhile, Water Resources Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal will receive Zardari at the airport.

Zardari told the reporters that he is not expecting LeT founder Hafiz Saeed's issue to be the focus of meeting. "My stance on Saeed is not different from that of my government. My visit to India is of a religious nature and I do not think Manmohan Singh will make me sit (and discuss only) this issue," he added. He will be the third Pakistan President to visit Ajmer Shrine.
