Mumbai, Apr 7: A new property scam in lines with the Adarsh Land scam and Aashirwad Housing Society that includes bigwigs like Zarine Khan (Hrithik Roshan's mother-in-law), Sanjay Khan, his daughter Farah Khan Ali, some retired Army Officers and an ex-Maharashtra police chief has surfaced in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

The society under the scanner is the Juhu Taj society, which in reality is meant for rehabilitating slum dwellers in the Juhu area. Under the Slum Rehabilitation Authority scheme, 56 slum dwellers in the area were to be provided flats free of cost, as reported by Mail Online India.

The area is being developed by Shailesh Sawla of Kunal Developers. The allegations against the builder include scheming with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority and the SRA, so as to allot 133 flats to ineligible people.

Reports reveal that Zarine Khan's family, Top Security owners Rahul Nanda and his family, Trig Security's owner Captain Swaran Salaria were allegedly allotted flats after being shown as slum dwellers.

The report also reveals that Rs 50 lakh was invested by the former Director General of Police of Maharashtra, PS Pasricha in his wife's name and an entire floor in the flat was transferred in the name of his wife and son.

The matter was dragged to the court by 18 residents of the Garib Mazdoor Sangh slum alleging that the number of eligible slum dwellers was raised from 56 to over 178 by the builder and the flats were being allotted to big shots in the city.
