Andhra Pradesh: Jagan keen on winning by-elections

Hyderabad, April 4: YSR Congress chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is determined to wrest one Lok Sabha and all the 18 assembly seats in the forthcoming by-elections.

The 39-year-old leader on Wednesday, Apr 4 made it clear that his party would not have to wait till 2014 for the general election if his party won the by-election. Through its clean sweep, YSR Congress could collapse Kiran Kumar Reddy led government. Moreover, he said that mid-term poll would be held immediately, giving way for the new government.

Earlier, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) senior leader Nayani Narasimha Rao had said that YSR Congress chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and TRS supremo K Chandrasekhara Rao would divide Andhra Pradesh into two bits and take one each.

The senior TRS leader had disclosed the two parties plan in a television debate on state political situation. He also claimed that the plan is to be considered as the general plan of action of both parties in the 2014 general election.
