CBI sources on Sunday, Apr 1 informed that CBI may arrest Jagan following the interrogation of the Enforcement Directorate (ED). However, Jagan is not alone whose name has been highlighted in the charge-sheet. Names of 12 other Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers and politicians also have been featured in the list.
Following a petition filed by Congress leader P Shankar Rao, Andhra Pradesh High Court ordered the CBI to investigate into Jagan's assets.
Earlier, on Mar 30, Supreme Court had issued notice to six ministers and eight IAS officers in connection with the ongoing CBI probe into the assets case of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The notice were issued to them in connection with the 26 government orders issued during the YS Rajsekhara Reddy rule allegedly to dole out favours to his son YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
