Jagan assets case: Supreme Court notice to 6 ministers
Sources said that notice were issued to them in connection with the 26 government orders issued during the YS Rajsekhara Reddy rule allegedly to dole out favours to his son YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The SC has issued the notices based on a petition alleging that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) was not proceeding against them despite holding sufficient evidence that they had helped YSR Congress president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in accumulating massive illegal assets.
Moreover, the petitioner also alleged that the six ministers and eight IAS officers held ministerial and other key positions under the then Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy.
The Supreme Court has asked to ministers and IAS officers to file their replies either in person or through Advocates in connection with issued notices.
