Tibet row:Delhi Oberoi stormed after China President arrives
Jintao stayed in the hotel where police arrested many Tibetans who stormed into the hotel campus over his (Jintao's) visit. Jintao arrived in the city for the fourth BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) summit which will begin from Mar 29.
Meanwhile, 27-year-old Jamphel Yeshi, who set himself on fire, died in a hospital in Delhi on Wednesday. China, however, marking 53 years of Communist rule in the Himalayan region, celebrated Liberation of Tibet on Wednesday. Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Hong Lei said, "I want to point out that today is the Liberation Day of hundreds of thousands of serfs in Tibet."
