33-year-old Shipra, the victim's phone was flooded with obscene messages and phone calls after the ad-campaign published her number wrongly.
"I have been receiving more than 1,000 phone calls and a large number of SMSs daily. I am tired of telling people I am not Katrina," said Shipra.
After contacting the firm to remove her number from their products, the company said that they did not provide the number and hence cannot be held responsible for the calls she recieved.
A legal notice was then slapped on the company by the techie, who collected all the labels sent to her by users that displayed her numbers.
According to the Techie, who is on a bedrest due to chronic backache, the intensity of calls have aggravated the situation as she is on medication and is unable to sleep.
