Bribe allegation: VK Singh hints involvement of a Retd Gen
Sources said that a suspected bugging device was found in the Defence Minister's office. Such devices are usually under the control of Director General of Defence Intelligence agency.
The name of Retd Gen Tejinder Singh has come after the Army Chief VK Singh revelation that he was being offered Rs 14 crore as bribe to clear a tranche of 600 sub-standard vehicles by an ex-army man.
Meanwhile, the former head of the Director General of Defence Intelligence Agency (DGDIA) has dismissed all allegation levelled against him saying he did not approach the Army Chief with the offer of bribe and he has commenced legal action against concerned persons in the case.
Defence Minister AK Antony has already ordered a CBI probe into the allegations.
