Odisha: Maoist release one Italian hostage

Bhubaneswar , Mar 25: Maoist on Sunday, Mar 25 released Claudia Colangelo, one of the two Italian nationals, who was abducted by the Maoists along with another Italian Bosusco Paolo from Kandhamal district of Odisha on Mar 14.

Earlier, on Mar 24, two maiost appointed interlocutors denied to go ahead with their talks to end the Italian hostage crisis following the abduction of a Biju Janata Dal (BJD)MLA Jhina Hikaka.

The Maoists had put forward 13 demands for the release of two Italians include a ban on the visit of tourists to tribal areas, halt on anti-maoist operations and released of several prisoners.
