Germany: Reebok pulls controversial advertisment off air
Kerry Summers, Reebok spokesman said that the company apologised for "any offense they may have caused" and it "does not condone this message or cheating in any way."
He further said that the posters read "Cheat on your girlfriend, not on your workout" and that they were placed in locker rooms of both men and women in 85 of the brand's partner gyms across the country for two weeks.
The advertisment grabbed headlines as it was criticised for its endorsment of cheating. The posters also went viral on the net.
