Karnataka crisis: Gowda demands sacking of BS Yeddyurappa

Sadanada Gowda-BS Yeddyurappa
New Delhi, Mar 22: Chief Minister of Karnataka Sadananda Gowda along with Karnataka BJP chief KS Eshwarappa submitted a written complaint against former Chief Minister of the state, BS Yeddyurappa demanding to sack him from the BJP for the hullabaloo that he has created in the state by taking away party MLAs to resorts.

The complaint was submitted to Party President Nitin Gadkari on Wednesday night after he reached the capital to meet BJP High Command over the raging issue of reinstating Yeddyurappa as Karnataka CM.

Meanwhile, rumors are rife that BS Yeddyurappa will be reinstated as the Chief Minister of the state.

Talking over the issue of Yeddyurappa coming back to power, Gowda said he was confident that there will be no change in leadership.

"We called our party president Nitin Gadkari and asked about the speculations. He said there was nothing of that sort and there was no question of a leadership change. In spite of that we thought it is fair on our part to come and explain him all the things in detail. There are several reasons why we lost the bypoll for Udupi-Chikmagalur. That also we will explain to the party president," Gowda said.

"He is the right man to answer those questions. I am confident there will be no change in leadership in Karnataka for the time being," said Gowda on being asked why Yeddyurappa was confident of winning back his throne.

Sources reveal that BJP has stooped down to the demands of the former tainted minister, Yeddyurappa and he will be reinstated as the Chief Minister.
