Yeddy responsible for BJP defeat in Udupi-Chikmagalur bypoll

This new development will strengthen Yeddyurappa's case considerably, especially at a time when he was understood to have softened his stand with the party bosses in Delhi. Yeddyurappa, on Tuesday, had refused to visit Delhi after he was summoned by the BJP High Command. In a change of stance, Yeddyurappa has decided to travel to Delhi and will also attend the Budget session in Assembly. He and his team of loyalists had earlier refused to attend the state budget presentation.
