New Delhi, Mar 19: With regional parties emerging as game changers in the politics at the Centre, the perfect example for the same emerged when Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar stated, "Delhi will come to a stand still if Biharis stop working for a single day."

The CM made these comments at a rally at the outskirts of the national Capital. He said that Delhi is the capital of the country and everyone has the right to come and work here. He was speaking on the numerous jokes doing the rounds on Bihari's going to work in Delhi. He commented on the same, "It is wrong to think that we aren't the liability on the Capital."

On the migration of Bihari's to the capital and other places, Nitish Kumar said that this was not the result of joblessness, rather "it (migration) shows industriousness of the people". He added, "We do not go anywhere to beg. We achieve by the dint of our hard labour. If there’s any recruitment on the moon, Biharis will go there also."

CM Nitish Kumar was speaking at a rally organized in Burari in north Delhi to celebrate 100 years of the foundation of the state and to felicitate prominent Biharis of the Capital. The centenary year of the foundation is being celebrated by the Nitish government both inside and outside the state. Functions are being planned across the country especially in those cities that has a sizeable population of migrants from Bihar. Delhi is estimated to have close to four million migrants from the state.

Nitish Kumar also felicitated prominent Biharis with the Vishisht Bihari Samman.
