The Janata Party chief has been trying to make Mrs Gandhi and the Union Home Minister, P Chidamabaram as co-accused in the second generation spectrum scam.

Chidambaram, who was the finance minister in 2008, has been accused of not restraining the telecom minister A Raja making the flip-flop while allocating the spectrum to several telecom companies. Swamy has been demanding that they would be able to prove Chidambaram's involvement in the scam only if he (Chidambaram) faces cross questioning.
