Akhilesh Yadav likely to be UP CM, Mulayam's decision today

Lucknow, Mar 10: The crucial decision in Uttar Pradesh will be announced today (Saturday, Mar 10) when Samajwadi Party finally will put an end to all speculations that who will be the successor of Mayawati, the new Chief Minister of the state.

After a legislative meeting in Lucknow, party leaders are expected to announce the name of the new CM. The meeting has been scheduled to be held at around 11 am. However, if sources are to be believed then the state soon will get its youngest Chief Ministers. Mulayam Singh likely to give the crown to his son - 38-year-old Akhilesh Yadav.

According to sources, there were rifts within Samajwadi Party over the decision (who will become the next CM). While youth brigade of the party wants Akhilesh, top and senior leaders such as Azam Khan want that Mulayam should be the CM.

People in Uttar Pradesh have been eagerly waiting for the crucial decision and announcement which will set a new beginning for the state. However, many claimed that Mulayam should hand over the responsibility to Akhilesh as his young and fresh thoughts may give the state a prosperous future.
