AP: PRP waiting for Chiranjeevi's RS membership
The ruling Congress is expecting to grab four seats in the biennial elections to the Upper House of the Parliament.
After the merger of Praja Rajyam Party with Congress, UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi had promised a seat to Chiranjeevi in the Union Cabinet.
With the retirement of four Congress members and one each of CPI and TDP, the Rajya sabha seat will be vacant in the April.
CPI, which succeeded to win seats last time over its coalition with the Congress, may not experience the same situation as it parted with the later.
