BJP confident to come back in power in UP, Uttarakhand
Talking to journalists, Shahnawaz Hussain, BJP spokesperson said that “The Congress party is bound to lose elections in Uttar Pradesh, as it had earlier lost in Bihar. They had contested elections with full force in Bihar, but witnessed a great loss. I am sure they will not win. On the other hand, the BJP has contested these elections with a collective leadership and I am sure we will form the government in the state with a clear majority." “On one hand, Rahul Gandhi issues statements against the Bahujan Samaj Party, and on the other, Congress party leaders like Beni Prasad Verma claim that Mayawati is a better leader. The Congress party wants to form a coalition with either the BSP or the Samajwadi Party under the leadership of Mulayam Singh Yadav and wants to come to power in Uttar Pradesh. "As far as I see it, it seems that the voters have exercised their franchise in the benefit of the BJP. Our party will again come to power in Uttarakhand with a clear majority," Hussain added.
