The airlines on Wednesday, Feb 29 announced that all travellers, who had booked their flight tickets but could not travel because of the flight cancellations between Feb 17 to Feb 26, would receive one flight ticket for free.
CEO of the airlines, Mr Sanjay Aggarwal sent an email to all travel agencies and expressed his regrets over the difficult situation and informed about the latest decision of Kingfisher airlines.
"I deeply regret the inconvenience many of your customers, who were booked on Kingfisher between 17th and 26th February, faced due to the unforeseen schedule disruption," says Mr Aggarwal's mail.
Mr Aggarwal also added, "Please do accept my sincere apologies to you and your staff for the anxiety and extra effort caused by these sudden cancellations."
"We are not only apologizing to them (the passengers) but, as a token of goodwill, offering them a free ticket," stated the mail sent by Kingfisher Airlines CEO.
