Bhanwari murder: Ex-Cong min Maderna,13 others chargesheeted

Jodhpur, Feb 29: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) filed its second supplementary charge-sheet over Bhanwari Devi kidnap and murder case. The charge-sheet submitted by the investigative agency named Mahipal Maderna, the former Congress minister (water resources minister) who was forced to resign from his position following his alleged involvement in the case.

Maderna along with 13 other people has been indicted by the CBI and Congress MLA Malkhan Singh Bishnoi is one among them. The CBI filed the second charge-sheet in Jodhpur court.

The people, whose names have been mentioned in the second chargesheet submitted by the CBI, have been charged with abduction and conspiracy to murder Bhanwari Devi. They also have been charged with tampering of evidences.

Earlier, OneIndia had reported that many of the witnesses in Bhwanwari devi kidnap and murder case have gone missing and many of them have been manipulated to withdraw their earlier statements.

The statement of CBI officials clearly pointed fingers at Congress. The auxiliary nurse, Bhanwari Devi was missing and investigations revealed that she was kidnapped and allegedly murdered by the goons sent by Maderna and his other aides.

The deceased nurse was accused of blackmailing Maderna with a video CD which reportedly featured Bhanwari and Maderna in compromising positions.
