BS Yeddyurappa
Bangalore, Feb 24: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President, Nitin Gadkari on Friday, Feb 24 reached Bangalore and met former Chief Minister of the state, BS Yeddyurappa who believed to have given Feb 27 as the ultimatum to BJP to take its final decision.

It seems that Yeddyurappa is asking for a birthday gift from BJP as co-incidentally he will celebrate his 70th birthday on Feb 27. Yeddyurappa demanded that BJP should remove the present CM, Sadananda Gowda and re-appoint him (BSY) in the post of the CM.

According to sources, Yeddyurappa has been pressurising the party as he has been enjoying the support of majority of BJP MLAs. However, recently, Mr Gowda has been quoted as saying, "I am the consensus candidate and there is no move to replace me with other party legislator as the chief minister. My position as chief minister is safe."

Friday, Feb 23 might be a crucial day for Yeddyurappa as his meeting with Mr Gadkari may change his life once again. Yeddyurappa was forced to resign from CM post following his alleged involvement in land denotification cases. Later he was arrested and was released on bail. Yeddyurappa claims that he will prove his innocence soon.

Here it can be mentioned that the BJP legislators gathered in the silicon city to attend the chintan manthan session which has been organised to give moral lesson to all its legislative including all MPs, MLAs, Ministers and other party workers in Karnataka.
