Mayawati
Uttar Pradesh, Feb 22: Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mayawati at an election rally in Agra on Tuesday said "I hold the key to power".

Further asking Agra Dalits for votes, she said that they bring her to power, if they wanted a Dalit to remain in power.

"If you vote for the Congress, all the poor and unemployed would have to go to other states to earn their livelihood," said Mayawati after she called Rahul Gandhi a "Yuvraj".

Further talking in a warning tone she said that bringing SP to power would only bring "goonda, badmash and mafia-run jungle raj."

Hitting at BJP, she said that bringing them to power would fuel communal tensions.

"The state under BSP has been free of communal tensions and people have lived in amity," she said.

"The high court benches in Meerut and Agra have to be cleared by the centre. Many of our financial problems are the result of centre's lack," she said lashing out at Congress.

"If you want a Dalit ki beti (Dalit's daughter) as your chief minister again, vote for the BSP," she said.

She later said that farmers and businessmen would go kaput if Congress allowed FDI in retail in the state.
