AP: Over Rs 20,000 crore hidden treasure near secretariat
Sources said that some workers who were doing some construction work found steps leading to an underground hidden tunnel on the premises of a school in front of the state Secretariat and go into it. They reportedly found an iron gate in the tunnel.
Moreover, MR T.B. Raju, chief manager (personnel), Coal India Limited has submitted an affidavit to the Archaeology Department mentioning that he had authentic information of a treasure in a hidden tunnel on the premises of a school in front of the state Secretariat, bordering the Birla temple.
Mr Raju son was studying in the school, who came know about the tunnel through the construction workers. Meanwhile, the Archaeology Department has ordered for excavation after inspecting the site.
On Sunday, Feb 19 morning the archaeology department has started excavation in presence of a mason, who will serve as a guide. Sources said that mason was the first person to have gone to the tunnel where he found two almirahs full of jewels and precious stones.
