Indian fishermen shot dead
Kochi, Feb 17: Italian guards, who allegedly killed two Indian fishermen on Wednesday, Feb 15, will be arrested soon, sources informed on Friday. After taking bullet injuries as evidence, Kochi police booked the members of the Italian vessel over murder charges.

The crew members of the Italian vessel will granted Consular visits but the ship will get leave permission soon, informed Kochi police sources. Here it can be recalled that two Indian fishermen, one from Tamil Nadu and other from Kerala were shot dead by security officials of an Italian cargo vessel in the deep sea.

Shocking revelations came out during investigation that the guards, who shot the fishermen, tried to continue his journey without informing other members of the ship about the shooting.

However, Italian government spokesperson is still continuing to say that the two Indian fishermen were shot after being warned.

Initially, spokesperson of the Italian vessel claimed that the two deceased were mistaken for pirates, but within a day the nation has come up with some different story saying that their vessel was attacked on the sea just ahead of the killing of the two Indian fishermen.
