AP: HC rejects Jagan's aide's plea to work from jail
He had filed the petition in the High Court after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) special court turned down his request.
Vijaya Sai claimed that he had many firms and his clients need financial guidance from him so he be allowed to use laptop in jail.
Meanwhile, CBI has strongly rejected his petition claiming that it could be used to influence or threaten witnesses.
Vijay Sai had served as the vice-president of Jagati Publications Pvt Ltd, which is owned by Jaganmohan Reddy. Currently he is lodged in Hyderabad’s Chanchalguda Central Jail.
Vijaya Sai has been enjoying VIP status in the jail alike Bellary mining barons Gali Janardhana Reddy and two IAS officers who were arrested over corruption and misuse of power cases.
