Bangkok blasts: Pics of bombers released in local media

Bangkok, Feb 15: After the serial blasts in Bangkok on Tuesday, the officials have released the pictures of the suspected bombers. The pictures are reported to have appeared in certain local Bangkok media channels. The pictures were accessed from the CCTV footages. The accused have been identified as Saeid Moradi, who is one of the injured in the deadly attacks in Bangkok's business district.

Mohummad Hazaei is another person who is believed to be behind the bomb being tossed into the cab.He has been arrested following his identity being exposed from the CCTV images. The third suspect is yet to be captured.

Meanwhile, the Thailand officials investigating the blast has revealed that Israeli diplomats including the Ambassador was the target of the bombers in Bangkok as well. They are also trying to draw parallels between the Israeli embassy attack in India and Georgia. Initial investigation divulged that magnetic bombs were used in the Bangkok serial blasts, similar to that in India and Georgia and was more aimed at individuals rather than large scale acts of terrorism.

According to reports, all 3 suspects are of Iranian descent with one of them seriously injured after being caught in the blast.

The Thailand Foreign Ministry had issued statements citing that Thailand was not a terror target, but as many as 10 countries have issued travel advisories against travel to the popular destination.
