Delhi Israel embassy blast: Diplomat critical
The diplomat underwent two surgeries on Monday night and her condition is "critical but stable".
The diplomat identified as 40 year old Tal Yehoshua, is the wife of Israeli Defence Attache in the Embassy. She suffered splinter injuries in the attack and was admitted to the Primus Hospital here. A spokesperson in the hospital where she is being treated was quoted as saying, "Her surgery is over...she continues to remain critical but stable. She will be under observation for some time because she had undergone two major surgeries."
Dr Deep Makkar, who is in-charge of international patients in the hospital stated, "She has suffered spinal and liver injuries but her vitals are stable."
She was on her way to pick up her two school going children from the American Embassy school when the incident happened.
