Porngate: K'taka MLAs to give explanation
Last week during assembly session, three ministers - CC Patil, Lakshmana Savadi and Krishna Palemar were caught on camera watching a sleazy video clip in mobile phone. They had resigned on Wednesday, Feb 8 following the row.
The incident caused a ruckus in the assembly calling for the immediate sacking of the ministers. While, the opposition has demanded for the expulsion of the MLAs from the House.
A six-member committee has been formed to investigate on the matter and they will submit their report by March 12.
Meanwhile, Sadananda Gowda defended the ministers citing that the government won't take any action against them before having proper probe.
"It is for the Speaker to take action against ministers if they were found guilty of watching porno clippings in the assembly," Gowda had said.
