UP ready for 'remote-control' CM operated by Rahul Gandhi?
Jaiswal made the stunning remark while he was speaking to reporters and said that he was confident that the Congress would win and eventually form the government. He commented, "Whoever becomes the CM, the remote will be in Rahulji's hands. Rahul will show his skills in the next five years and will be monitoring whether the promises are being fulfilled or not."
With the use of the term "remote control" drawing a lot of ire across party lines, the ugly face of blind faith to the Gandhi family has come to the spotlight.
After the first phase of polls in UP, Jaiswal stated, "Rahul's vigorous campaigning has ensured that youths came out to vote. There is an increase in voter turnout and 15% of them are young. They have all come to vote for Rahul."
With Congress chief Sonia Gandhi ruling out any sort of alliance in Uttar Pradesh, the party has time and again stressed that the people in UP is their only ally.
