K'taka:BSY supports ex-BJP mins who watched porn in assembly
Amid ruckus in the assembly, Yeddyurappa, while attending the session, was seen upset over the whole issue. Later during a core BJP legislature party meeting on Wednesday, Yeddyurappa reportedly said that the tainted trio should not be punished by the BJP party.
The former CM's statement came following the demands of the opposition parties to expel Laxman Savadi, CC Patil and Krishna Palemar from the party and from the assembly as well. However, the trio had resigned from their posts as the Minister for Cooperation and Minister for Women and Child Development and Mangalore in-charge Minister respectively.
Yeddyurappa's support came in, especially for Savadi and Patil who are believed to be two of the loyalists of the former CM.
The three former ministers were caught when the state assembly was discussing the controversial issue of hoisting Pakistani flag in Sindgi town of Bijapur district allegedly by right wing Sri Rama Sene activists.
