Tirupati, Feb 5: Are you planning to visit Tirumala Temple in Tirupati in coming future? Then please don't forget to carry dhoti and sari with you. According to sources, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) soon will come with special dress code for both men and women who want to visit the hill shrine.

Western outfits such as shorts, minis, sleeveless tops, bermudas and many other dresses which expose body parts will not be allowed in the temple. TTD soon will ban all western dresses inside the temple, sources said.

Men and women soon will be asked to come in dhoti/pyjamas and saree/churidars respectively. Here it can be mentioned that TTD officials are very keen to implement the proposal in coming 2-3 months.

"We will educate the pilgrims on Indianness, culture and the need to protect the sanctity of the temple," sources quoted TTD officials as saying.

Meanwhile, the officials mentioned that they will face difficulties to implement the same rule on people who come from foreign countries. Though officials also stated, "Some rich, spoilt kids also come to the temple in ill-fitting manner much to the chagrin of others."

It seems that TTD officials are no more ready accept any "vulgar dresses" within the temple and pilgrims have to come in "decent outfit" if they pass the proposal over new dress code.
