Cong-star Priyanka Gandhi overshadows Rahul in UP poll
Priyanka, who finished her three-day-visit to the state on Wednesday, Jan 18 after campaigning in Rae Bareli and Amethi, has already grabbed attention of the aam-aadmi (general people) and other political leaders including the opposition parties.
Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi had on Tuesday flayed the Congress for roping in Priyanka to boost its electoral prospects in the upcoming UP election where Rahul is believed to have held a promising position.
Citing the buzz around Priyanka's three-day-visit to Mayawati's state and her active participation in Indian politics, many started raising voice for Priyanka - daughter of former PM, late Rajiv Gandhi and the present Congress President, Sonia Gandhi.
Earlier it was reported that Rahul and Sonia are hindering Priyanka's entry into active politics. However, Priyanka's campaigning in Rahul's constituencies is believed to have created more impact on people than Rahul's months-long-campaignings and pada-yatras (foot-march) in Uttar Pradesh.
