After Kani, Karuna's other daughter involved in fraud case?
Selvi and others promised Nallathambi to provide him a member's position in the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC).
K Nallathambi had filed a petition at the police commissionerate alleging that he had met DMK secretary of Velachery area, Ravi and Selvi's assistant Ramesh at Anna Arivalayam where he was told about the TNPSC post. They asked him to give Rs 1 crore for that position.
"They promised to get me the seat by using the clout of former chief minister M Karunanidhi's daughter Selvi. They introduced me to Selvi and her niece Uma Maheshwari in February 2010 at a hotel in T Nagar. Selvi assured me the post. So I made part payment pledging my wife's jewellery. The rest I promised to pay after getting the post," said Nallathambi.
But when the names were declared, Nallathambi's name was missing from the TNPSC list.
"I was shocked. When I went to them and asked to return my money, they offered me a chance to contest the assembly elections or a plump post in the party," Nallathambi added.
After Selvi and others didn't return back Nallathambi's money, he filed a complaint against them.
